Stainback Hess Studio

		James Hess, AIA James is one of the founding partners of Stainback Hess Studio and has over 20 years of experience in the field of architecture and construction. Graduating with honors in Architecture from the University of Tennessee, he extended his studies with VPI in their Lugano, Switzerland program. James' career has focused on all aspects of design from the initial master planning phase, to construction administration. He has in-depth knowledge of varying project types including hotels, conference centers, office developments, mulit-family housing, clubs and private homes. With experience as an architect and a successful developer, James provides a complete and efficient perspective to his residential projects. Other interests include cycling and adventure travel.
		Julia Stainback Julia graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Masters in Architecture and was awarded the AIA School Medal of the Henry Adams Fund as valedictorian in 1996. She received an undergraduate degree in Art History from Emory University. She is one of the founding members of Stainback Hess Studio and has over 14 years of experience in residential design. Other interests include equestrian dressage, road biking, flora, fauna and family.
